PASSPORT FOR A PILGRIM

‘Super suspense and, as usual, Love finds a way.’ Daily Express

A medical conference. A simple favour. A death that won’t stand scrutiny.

Dr Jason Love, country doctor turned occasional unwilling secret agent, is bound for a medical conference in Damascus. Before he leaves Somerset, a patient asks him to make one discreet enquiry: how did his daughter really die in a car accident outside the Syrian capital?

It seems a reasonable favour. But the closer Love looks, the less the official story makes sense. Soon he is caught up in a conspiracy that leads from the streets of Damascus to a remote monastery concealing something far more sinister than sacred relics.

Finding the truth is dangerous enough. Getting out alive will take all his ingenuity.

‘Bullets buzz like a beehive kicked by Bobby Charlton’ Sunday Mirror

‘Action is driven along at a furious pace from the moment the doctor sets foot in Damascus… a quite ferocious climax. Unputdownable.’ Sheffield Morning Telegraph
