the City Fox and others in our community by Chris Parker

£15.99

‘Chris Parker’s poetry speaks to the constant complexity that cannot be overcome. The City Fox is both brain-wise and mindful.’
Dr John Sullivan
Head of Psychology at High Performance Sport New Zealand

‘I began reading Chris Parker twenty years ago. He was amazing then and he is amazing now.’
Geoff Thompson
BAFTA Award winning writer, author, and playwright

‘I've not come across a writer like this. I really can't think of one...These poems not only know the life or lives of which they speak, but also that of the unknown reader.’
Mark Mayes
Author of The Gift Maker

In this collection of engaging, emotive and thought-provoking poems, Chris Parker explores the relationship between community, communication, and learning. Divided into three parts, this series of interrelated poems introduces a range of characters and settings, contrasting the challenges of the human search for purpose, meaning, and identity, with the synergy, simplicity, and silence of Nature.
